How everything began
In 2000, we (Anne & Jan) met by chance at an agriturismo not far from Villa Verdini. We fell in love – with each other, and with this region.
Since then, we've been returning every year. Bringing our children, our family, our friends. We've explored other corners of Italy, but we always find our way back to Piedmont. For the food, the people, the landscape. For the quiet hills and the slow rhythms that make this place feel real.
For 25 years, we dreamed of having a home here. In 2025, we made it real with Villa Verdini – and decided to share it with people who feel the same way we do.
For us, this place has always been a retreat. A place where time slows down, where our family gathers around long meals, where there's no rush – just sun, good wine, great food, and the people who matter. That's the feeling we want to invite you into.
Now, we're passing on our passion to the next generation. Our children, Hanna, Lisa and Emil, help us with content, social media, photography, and guest support. They share our love for Piedmont and bring their own perspective to what we do.
In all our homes, connection is at the heart. We restore historic properties with care, preserving their soul while creating spaces for togetherness. Places where families unite, where friends connect, where you arrive and simply let go.
