Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to the letting of holiday flats and holiday homes by Vermeegen Immobiliare Piemonte S.R.L. to private guests. They govern the rights and obligations of the parties and form an integral part of every tenancy agreement. Their scope extends exclusively to these services.

2. Booking Conditions

Bookings are made via our online portal or by email. The booking only becomes binding upon written confirmation from us. Payment must be made in accordance with the deadlines specified during the booking process.

3. Payment Terms

The rental fee is generally due within 7 days of receipt of the booking confirmation. For last-minute bookings (less than 14 days before arrival), payment is due immediately. Payment is to be made by bank transfer or PayPal.

4. Cancellation and Withdrawal Terms

Unless otherwise agreed, cancellation is free of charge up to 60 days before arrival. For cancellations made later than this, 50% of the rental price will be charged. Cancellation must be made in writing.

5. Obligations of the Tenant

The tenant undertakes to treat the holiday accommodation with care, not to breach any house rules, to ensure energy consumption is kept to a minimum and not to exceed the booked occupancy. In the event of damage, the tenant is liable for the costs of repair.

6. Disclaimer

We accept no liability for damage or loss arising from force majeure, strikes, delays or other events beyond our control. Information regarding the accommodation is provided to the best of our knowledge; we accept no liability for its completeness or accuracy.

7. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Details regarding data processing are set out in our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Cologne, Germany.
